As a political scientist (Ph.D.) and corporate executive with over 20 years of experience in global industrial leaders—including eight years as Head of Group Sustainability at DAX-listed Continental AG - I consider myself a strategic bridge-builder, networker, and innovator at the intersection of business, policy, science, and society.
My work centers on driving impactful, economically viable transformation by connecting diverse stakeholders, bridging competing interests, and translating complex regulatory frameworks into competitive business strategies. I specialize in strategic storytelling, turning intricate ESG topics into engaging, actionable formats—including my concept of the "Big 5 of Sustainability Regulation" across keynotes, executive briefings, and lectures. As a constructive partner in public policy, I advocate for pragmatic, consistent regulatory frameworks, e.g. in the context of CSRD, ESRS, and EU Taxonomy, that focus on high-leverage impact.
Additionally, my experiences include establishing high-performing ESG organizations, data control systems, and robust steering models, particularly within complex corporate restructurings and major spin-off scenarios. Developing collaboratively solution pathways, building trusted networks and facilitating constructive dialogue across sectors remains at the heart of my approach to turning competing interests into shared, sustainable outcomes.
